These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings, retreats, and yoga teacher training programs offered by Ancestral Yoga Community LLC (“Ancestral Retreats”), operating under the brand Ancestral Retreats & Academy. By making a booking or payment, you agree to these terms in full.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy

1. Your deposit

A deposit of €400 secures your place and is required to confirm your booking. The deposit can be paid via our payment provider Stripe, with credit card or a bank transfer. The deposit is non-refundable. It is, however, not lost if your plans change. If you cancel 30 or more days before your start date, your deposit is held as credit and can be applied to any Ancestral training or retreat starting within 365 days of your original event date. If the new event has a higher price, the difference is payable by you. Deposits cannot be transferred to another person and cannot be exchanged for cash.

2. Paying your balance

Retreats: The remaining balance is payable two weeks before the retreat starts.
Yoga Teacher Trainings: Half of the remaining balance is payable two months before the start date, and the remainder two days before the training starts. If agreed in advance with the Ancestral Retreats team, you may also pay in cash on the day of arrival. We accept cash in Euros (€), US Dollars ($) or Colombian Pesos (COP) only. USD and COP amounts are calculated using an exchange rate against the Euro that Ancestral Retreats defines in advance.

3. If you cancel

60 days or more before the start date:
Your balance is refunded in full. Your deposit is held as credit for 365 days.

Between 60 and 30 days before the start date:
Your balance is not refundable, but your full booking can be transferred to another Ancestral event starting within 12 months, subject to a 10% administrative fee. Your deposit is held as credit for 365 days.

Less than 30 days before the start date:
No refund or transfer is possible, and the deposit expires. All cancellations must be sent to us in writing.

4. If we cancel

If we cancel or reschedule an event for any reason within our control, you may choose between a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit, or transferring your booking to a future date. If an event cannot take place because of circumstances beyond our control — including pandemics, natural disasters, government or travel restrictions, or civil unrest — you will receive a credit for the full amount paid, valid for 24 months, or the option to transfer your booking to another date. Refunds are not available in these circumstances.

5. If a programme is interrupted

If a programme is interrupted after more than half of it has been completed, no refund or credit is given. If it is interrupted before the halfway point, you may re-enrol in a future programme at a reduced rate covering accommodation and food only.

6. Travel, health and responsibility

We are not responsible for flight cancellations, delays or any other costs relating to your travel to and from the venue. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation for personal or medical reasons. Our programmes are physically and mentally demanding. You are responsible for assessing your own fitness to participate and for disclosing relevant health conditions before arrival. Nothing in this policy
limits our liability where such limitation is not permitted by law.

Accommodation

If you have specific requests or needs for your room, we will do our best to accommodate you, however we cannot give any guarantees. All rooms are allocated on the first come first served basis, so the sooner you sign up, the more likely your requests will be fulfilled. If you do not have a roommate, you will be paired with another guest(s). If you’re joining the training with your friend/partner, please specify who your roommate will be when signing up for the course.

Data Protection & Privacy

We collect and process personal data (name, email address, phone number, and payment information) solely for the purpose of processing your booking and communicating with you about your retreat or training. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required to process payments or comply with legal obligations. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States of America. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming. For EU-based customers, mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable EU law remain unaffected.
